Who we are
The TheoryPrac app helps you prepare for the UK driving theory test. It is run by Prime Learning Hub Ltd ("we"). If you have a question about your data, write to us at support@example.com.
What we keep and why
- Your account: name, e-mail address and your password (stored only as a scrambled hash we cannot read). We need these to sign you in and to send you a password reset code when you ask for one.
- Your theory test date, if you add it, to show your countdown.
- Your learning progress: answers, mock test and hazard perception results, bookmarks and game progress, so the app can show your progress and weak areas.
- Messages: what you write in the chat room (visible to other learners with your name), support messages to us, and messages we send to your inbox.
- Purchases: if you buy Full Access, Apple or Google tell us the purchase is real and give us an order number. We never see your card or bank details.
- Reports and blocks you make in the chat room, so we can keep it safe.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, show adverts, or use advertising or tracking tools. We do not share your data with anyone except where the law requires it.
Where it is kept
On our own server. Password reset e-mails are sent through our own Gmail account.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. When you delete it, your account and everything listed above is removed straight away. Purchase records stay with Apple or Google under their own rules.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or delete it. You can delete your account yourself in the app (Profile, Delete account) or on our delete account page. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
The app is meant for people preparing for the driving theory test. It is not aimed at children under 13.
